words of wisdom from hiram mcdaniels
"Saadawi’s novel tells the story of Hadi Al-Attag, “a rag-and-bone man” who haunts the streets of war-torn Baghdad of 2005, searching for fresh human body parts to stitch together a human corpse. Once completed, the patchwork “what’s-its-name” embarks on a journey of revenge on behalf of those whose organs constitute its body." - Arabic Literature (in English)
I’m so HAPPY :D I didn’t read it yet, but my sister did & she’s simply obsessed with it! She didn’t read Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, though! I think reading it with Shelley’s narrative in mind would make a difference, don’t you think?
oh my god I’m so hella for this
keepingupwithkimchi I know you’re probably sick of Frankenstein by now, but this looks really cool.

pretend to sleep. Welcome to Night Vale." - Cecil Palmer
